Deepak Jois is a computer programmer who is passionate about languages. He is studying Urdu at the Mahatma Gandhi University in Wardha, India. With his skills in Devanagari, Deepak is helping Faiz-e-Zabaan to build a Devanagari catalogue on Urdu. Deepak has also transcribed several letters of Ghalib into Devanagari script, which are accessible here.

Hina Fathima studies political science at Haverford College, U.S. She is interested in journalism, and in learning Urdu and Arabic. She is helping Faiz-e-Zabaan with cataloguing articles in English as well as in the Devanagari script.

Umar (aka Homayoun) fosters a deep love for Urdu that brings him to help Faiz-e-Zabaan with its promotion activities over social media. He is currently a High School student in Canada with an interest in Comparative Literature – even though his parents are steering him towards medicine. He also has an interest in learning languages.
