Three city roads named after prominent personalities

ISLAMABAD: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has named three different roads of the city after the name of prominent personalities following approval of the prime minister.

The prominent personalities include Muhammad Tufail Niazi, Muhammad Mansha Yad and Shanul Haq Haqqi.

The roads attributed to these personalities include Service Road (South), Sector G-9, named as Muhammad Tufail Niazi Road; Service Road (East), Sector G-7, as Muhammad Mansha Yad Road; and Service Road (West), Sector G-9, as Shanul Haq Haqqi Road. A notification regarding the naming of roads has formally been issued by the Cabinet Division. The concerned formation of the authority would install signboards of the newly named roads on the directions the CDA chairman.

Shanul Haq Haqqi, Muhammad Mansha Yad and Muhmmad Tufail Niazi have been honoured for their services in the field of Urdu literature and folk singing respectively. The CDA had named the roads of the city in the name of renowned personalities and heroes after seeking the approval of prime minister.
